More From Charlotte Mande Ilunga

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. — Psalm 119:105

To walk safely at night, we may need a light so we don't trip over roots or fall into holes. Likewise, in this life we travel through the dark forest of evil, but the Bible acts as our light — showing us the way ahead and helping us through the obstacles we encounter. Scripture can reveal the entangling roots of harmful values and philosophies. When we study and meditate on the word of God, we are better able to see our way clearly and stay on the right path. I hope we all make the word of the Lord the standard of our lives.

Jesus Christ is the light of the world and the Word of God. Let Christ hold you by his right hand. Let him dwell in you. Let him guide you in all you do.
