September 3: Stronger Together

1. What natural material reminds you of the importance of being tightly connected with others and working together? What examples from the natural world remind you of the problems caused by weak connections?
2. When has an experience brought your congregation closer together? What happened? What lasting changes have you observed from this experience?
3. Why do you think it is important to have unity and connection with other believers? Why is it so easy for disruption to impact a congregation?
4. What shared goals does your church currently have? How do these goals encourage church members to work together? How do they strengthen your congregation?
5. When have you participated in an outreach ministry? What did you do? How did this outreach connect you to others and to God?

September 10: A Surprise Opportunity

1. When have you realized that someone you have known for a while is a Christian? How did you realize this? What happened when you learned they shared your faith?
2. How did you learn about God? How did learning about God change your life?
3. Recall an unexpected blessing you have received. What was it? How did this blessing impact you? How did it bring you closer to God and others?
4. Do you regularly speak about your faith with others? Why or why not? What happens when you speak about your faith openly?
5. How are you blessed and encouraged when you spend time connecting with other believers? Why do you think spending time with other Christians is so meaningful?

September 17: Dave’s Wave

1. Who in your community is an example of giving generously out of what they have? Why? How does their example inspire you?
2. What limitations do you currently have? In what ways do you give to others despite those limitations?
3. Have you ever let adversity keep you from serving others and sharing what you have? Why or why not? What motivates you to keep giving to others regardless of the challenges?
4. When have you been blessed by someone who gave what they had? How did this blessing affect you? How did you show your appreciation?
5. Who in scripture serves as an example of giving to others no matter what challenges or limitations they had? What can you learn from their story?

September 24: God with Us

1. Have you traveled alone? If so, what was it like? How do you think traveling alone differs from traveling with companions?
2. When have you decided to challenge yourself and leave your comfort zone? What happened?
3. Describe a time when you received an answer to your concerns before expressing them in prayer. How did you feel? How did this affect your relationship with God?
4. When has a message helped you feel better about your situation? Why was this message so meaningful for you? How did it remind you that God knows and cares for you?
5. What scripture verses remind you of God’s presence? How do these verses help you when you are feeling worried or doubtful?
