June 4: Listen

1. What do you do when you struggle to sleep? Where do you find peace on sleepless nights?
2. What sounds of nature do you find most peaceful and comforting? How do these sounds remind you that God is speaking to you?
3. When have you received a message from God that helped you get through your day? What was the message? How did it help you? How are you encouraged to know you don’t have to face life alone?
4. Do you ever get too busy to listen to what God is telling you? What do you miss out on when you stop listening to God? How can you become better at making time to listen to God?
5. In what ways do you strive to be ready to respond whenever and wherever God calls? What does it look like to be ready? How do you respond when God speaks to you?

June 11: Getting It Straight

1. Have you ever used something as a guide, only to find that it was not accurate or helpful? What did you learn from this experience?
2. Who has been a role model for you? How did their example influence your life?
3. Do you think that it is good to have role models? Why or why not?
4. Why do you think aligning with other people can make it easy to go in a direction we don’t intend? What helps you to stay on the path you desire?
5. What does it look like to follow Jesus’ example and to align our lives with him? What can we do to be better followers of Christ?

June 18: Seventy-Seven Times

1. When you experience betrayal and pain, do you turn to scripture for guidance? Why or why not? What verses have been the most influential for you in such situations?
2. Do you find it easy to forgive when you have been hurt? How does God’s forgiveness of us change the way you forgive others?
3. What scripture verses most remind you of the importance of forgiveness? How do these verses help you when you are tempted to hold on to resentment?
4. When has prayer healed your heart? What was the process like? What else has helped you heal?
5. Call to mind a relationship that needs healing. What prayers, scripture verses, spiritual practices, and actions can you take to move toward healing?

June 25: Creator of Heaven and Earth

1. Do you practice an exercise regimen? If so, how does that regimen enrich your life? If not, what other daily regimens do you practice?
2. Where do you find time in the busyness of your day to reflect on and talk to God? How does this time strengthen your connection with God?
3. What aspects of creation most remind you of God’s presence and care? How do you take time to notice and appreciate these parts of creation?
4. When has God given you a message through creation? How did you receive this message? What did you do after receiving it?
5. How do you remain connected to God no matter your circumstances? What spiritual practices help you remain close to God?
