Since my surgery in January 2021, I am doing well with no signs of cancer returning. My husband and I were able to visit Yosemite this past May, and I was surprised and delighted to see a moonbow. A moonbow is a rare, faint rainbow that occurs at night when moonlight is refracted through water droplets in the air from the mist of a waterfall. I continue to be grateful for each day that I can see God’s amazing world and share God’s love with others, especially those who are going through a difficult season. I am also grateful for the opportunity to have my thoughts published. I have no aspirations as a writer, but it was a helpful experience to write my thoughts down and select scripture to go with it. It was another way to grow closer to God. I want to encourage others to do so, even if you never submit it for publication.
