I am thrilled and honored to have this, my second accepted meditation, appear in The Upper Room! I again thank God for helping me find the words, and I pray that my writing will help and encourage someone. Interestingly, this devotional appears two years—almost to the day—after my first one was published.

I encourage others to try their hand at writing down their thoughts and experiences and relating them to scripture.  Even if the work is not published, it can be a great exercise to really engage with God’s word.
